Book Coaching

How can I support you?
Sessions are tailored to your specific needs and can include writing craft, the self-publishing process, and promotion guidance. I support writers in moving from idea to finished manuscript, with a clear understanding of how the self-publishing landscape works, especially for those who don’t fit the mainstream mold.

Who I work with
I primarily work with queer and neurodivergent writers who are finding their footing. This might look like finishing a first draft, exploring publishing options, or building a more sustainable and consistent writing practice.

About me
I’m a non-binary, queer, autistic indie SFF author with over 10,000 books sold. I hold a master’s degree in Applied Developmental Psychology and have an undergraduate background in creative writing.

Pricing options
You can book a single session or purchase a package. Installment options are available to support accessibility.

Developmental Beta Reading

I offer in-depth feedback for fiction manuscripts, including inline notes, structural feedback on plot and pacing, and a written report summarizing my overall assessment.

I'm not a developmental editor, but I'm an experienced author and reader who will give you honest, constructive feedback on what's working and what isn't.

What you get:

  • Inline feedback directly in your manuscript
  • Structural notes on plot, pacing, and story arc
  • A written summary report

Rate: $.02 per word

Not ready to commit to a full manuscript? I also work in chapters or sections so you can get a feel for my feedback style before moving forward.

If you're interested, fill out the interest form below and tell me about your project.

Sensitivity Reading

I offer sensitivity reads for fiction manuscripts from both lived experience and academic background. I read for authentic and accurate representation, harmful stereotypes and tropes, language, and nuance of character.

I hold an MS in Applied Developmental Psychology where I focused on autism. I bring both personal and scholarly knowledge to this work.

I am not checking for plot, pacing, or prose quality. That is a separate service.

I read for:

  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • Dyslexia
  • Non-binary/Agender
  • Trans Masc
  • Aromantic and asexual identities
  • CPTSD
  • CSA (childhood sexual abuse)
  • LDS/Mormon childhood
  • Trauma

What you get:

  • Inline comments flagging specific passages
  • A written summary report
