1:1 Coaching

I'm MJ James, a non-binary, queer, autistic, indie SFF author with over 10,000 books sold, an MS in Applied Developmental Psychology, and undergraduate coursework in creative writing. I know what it takes to move a story from idea to finished manuscript—and I know how the self-publishing landscape works for writers who don't fit the mainstream mold.

I work primarily with queer and neurodivergent writers who are finding their footing—whether you're finishing your first draft, figuring out your publishing path, or trying to build a sustainable writing practice.

Sessions are tailored to your specific needs and can cover writing craft, the self-publishing process, and general promotion guidance. Direct marketing strategy is outside the scope of coaching.

Pricing

• Single Session: $125 per 45 minutes 
• 4 Sessions: 4 x 45-minute sessions for $475
• 8 sessions: 8 x 45-minute sessions for $925
• 12 sessions: 12 x 45-minute sessions for $1,300.00

Sessions expire six months after purchase. Appointment scheduling is based on availability.
